Not Bio. Bio is really complicated because in order to score well you have to perform your own experiment.

Well I would say that also depends on what the English topic you’re doing it on is. English Literature, for example, is first of all one of the most difficult HL classes to get a 7 in, but the EE is also a bitch. I speak from experience.

I mean as someone who is going to study literature at university, I enjoyed doing the essay, but it took a lot of time and effort to figure out what exactly to write about and whatnot.

Sure, EEs like history and bio are hours and hours of research, but literature ones, whilst they need less research, you also need to focus your research question in extreme detail, as well as the standard of both your writing and analysis being extremely high. I don’t know, all EE topics are hard, it just depends on if you can write about something you’re passionate about or not.

TL;DR - all of the EE topics are difficult, no matter what, so choose a topic you’re interested in, or that has some personal relevance to you, and write it on a subject you’re good at!
